All grade levels are expected to plan together.  The lesson plans are turned in with the notebook every two weeks.  Included in the weekly plans are Language Objectives for all students.  Also included are enrichment activities.  The purpose of these activities is to stretch students' thinking. When children already have a clear understanding of the concept being taught, we want to be able to continue to challenge them and their thinking.  Enrichment is an important part of our work so that all students in the building are continually challenged.  The Gifted and Talented teacher and the Math Specialist work with grade level teams to help them create meaningful, enrichment activities for students. It is our goal that all students will get to participate in enrichment activities.  Opportunities to work on enrichment activities are incorporated through various times of the day and in various subjects.
